Technical Service Bulletin (TSB) & Recalls

If the Technical Service Bulletin (TSB) & Recall category is available after initially selecting a vehicle, you will have the ability to research any released technical service documentation and recalls about that current vehicle (Figure 1).

Note: This information will be easily accessible even if you decide to research a separate category on this vehicle i.e. Maintenance or Vehicle Repairs. Simply select the Bulletins/Recalls button on the top navigation bar in order to return to the Bulletins/Recalls screen of your current vehicle (Figure 1).

The steps following Figure 1 will show you how to navigate in the Bulletins/Recalls  button. You may also select the Bulletins/Recalls link from the right window pane after selecting your vehicle.

1. After selecting the Bulletins/Recalls button, you will be sent to a page with specific TSB's and recalls for the vehicle that you selected (Figure 2). Here you will see a default list of all the TSB's that have been published on this vehicle.

2. Since the list may be lengthy, you can utilize the filter menus to refine and minimize any search results based on your vehicle. By selecting one of the drop-down menus highlighted in Figure 3, you have the ability to return search results based on specific vehicle issues.

3. Selecting a filter menu drop-down will refresh your screen and return any results that are associated with the selection you have made. Using Figure 4 below as an example, if you choose the Auto System filter and select Brakes, Power Brakes, Traction Control, it will return four matches. You can review those matches by selecting the View link next to each matching item (Figure 4). Selecting View opens up the Technical Service Bulletin or Recall as an Adobe Acrobat file (pdf) in a new window. Close this window to return to ChiltonLibrary.

If you decide to search using a different filter, the information that returns from the new filtered search will only be valid based on this new filter and is not combined with the previous filter search.
